The Literature Tour is a free walking tour that explores Lisbon through the works of writers who were inspired by the city. This gives you a vision of Lisbon as seen through the eyes of both Portuguese and foreign writers, from Fernando Pessoa and José Saramago to Antonio Tabucchi and Erich Maria Remarque.
It’s not just about the stories that take place in Lisbon, neither is it a tour on the history of Portuguese Literature. It’s a journey into how the true feeling of a city can be captured through Words!
You don’t need to have read any book by the authors that have been mentioned before coming. What is required is a keen interest in Literature and a desire to share your passion.
